Docked


Taken at Lake Stockton with my point & shoot. While it takes a good picture, it is hard for me to compose my shot just using the small screen, especially in the sunlight. It never fails that a photo op will happen when I don't have my camera!

I havent visited for a while, I apologise. I am trying to catch up . That yellow flower looks suspisciously like a dandilion!! They are great to photograph, you must try getting some close ups of the centre of these flowers, before the stamens come up (the long thingys with the pollen on them) and after they come up. I hadnt noticed this until I took a look at some macros I had done of one of the millions that we have here.

I love the shot of the boats, this sort of shot needs a nice soft light and looks like you got it.

Such a peaceful yet some how busy scene! Nicely captured and you are so right...as I only own a dSLR I cant carry it with me everywhere and I get so frustrated when I see something I wish I could take a photo of!!
