The weathered condition and the bright red relatively fresh paint seem contradictory don't they? I like the shot.
The Lake Springfield trailhead is brand new and right on Evans Road. It is on the left as you drive toward the dam. Just after the new Lake Springfield Park sign. It used to belong to CU and now the parks dept has it. I think you will like it.
