Portraits

My camera club has portrait sessions, and I finally decided to attend one. I tend not to shoot people much, and never portraits--I just don't have the models or the equipment. The shoot was so much fun, I ended up with over 300 shots! It took forever to go through them all, but I finally made it, and these are 4 of my favorites.

Why don't you shoot people? Each of the pictures is different and each of them is excellent. The first two are great models.

My kids run when they see the camera pointed at them, and I don't know anyone interested in modeling. Also, I don't have the lights etc for formal portrait work (these were taken using a studio set up provided by a camera club member). It was a lot of fun though.

You have an excellent variety of images here and I hope that you attend the portrait sessions again! :o)

Love your portrait shots. I like the eye contact in the first 3. But the last one works well too in this case where it looks like he is intently thinking about something else.

I love the top one. It shows her fun attitude well.
