Sacred Heart Cultural Center

After the Party

Went to Sacred Heart Cultural Center this morning (it used to be a church, but is now used for weddings, proms, and other events). I knew there had been a wedding on Saturday, but I did not expect to find chairs, tables, trash, etc. still waiting to be picked up. The cleaning crew was arriving as I left. The air conditioners were not on and it was pretty warm inside so I decided not to wait around for them to finish. I will post more shots from there tomorrow.

They have this every Saturday in August. I bought some delicious peaches.

Augusta Canal

Everything was closed when I got there. I plan on taking the b oat tour of the canal and learn about its history.

More Downtown

I am enjoying exploring, the sights as well as local events and restaurants. I am grateful I have a GPS so I can find my way around!

Downtown Augusta is definitely worth exploring. I took a lot of pictures this morning, but decided to start with the wildlife I found.

Cherries

After trying many ways to get Photoshop to work, I called Adobe and, with their help, managed to get running again. I am working on a laptop, so I can't tell for sure that these look the way I think they do, but at least I can start posting!

Have Photos, Can't Post

I am vacationing/living in Augusta GA for August and September. I have taken some photos, but for whatever reason, my Photoshop isn't working so I can't post anything until I can get the problem fixed.
