Frozen

One reason I moved to Springfield from Houston is because there are four seasons here. However, after about a month of winter I am ready for spring! This is our birdbath--full of frozen leaves.

I am taking Graphic Design this semester, and we are having to do a lot of drawing--something I am not very good at! It's fun though.

Cathedral on a Snowy Day

Getting There

We were going to go to the Science Museum in St. Paul, but ended up going to the capital, driving through University of Minnesota, and just driving around. This was taken while we were driving.

As I mentioned yesterday, it snowed almost every day we were there, and it was cloudy the rest of the time. This was such a gray day that the snow actually looked blue, so while I could make it look "correct", this is pretty close to the actual color.

Aleady a day behind! I probably won't make it every day this year either, but I will post as often as I can. I will be posting shots of Minnesota for the next few days. The week we were there was mostly in the 20's F, and it snowed almost every day. This was taken at Lake Nokomis in Minneapolis.
